Shot entirely on location, McLeod’s Daughters began as an unforgettable journey for Claire (Lisa Chappell) and Tess – two half-sisters separated as children and reunited when they inherited Drovers Run, a large Australian cattle ranch passed down through their family for generations. Despite their differences, Claire, the independent country girl, and Tess, the vivacious city slicker, assembled an all-female workforce and faced the extraordinary challenges of the land with unwavering heart and humor. As the series progressed, new characters and adventures kept the show fresh and exciting, enticing new fans as well as old. Season Three, however, ended with Claire’s shocking death, and the introduction of a new primary character to the series, Stevie Hall (Simmone Jade Mackinnon).
